DWJ Harkin recently commenced works on our first HS2 project with Eiffage Kier. Our works comprised of the delivery of a HS2 site compound, including formation of entrance bellmouths, installation of access roads and culvert diversions near Banbury. The projected required close collaboration with English Heritage and the Environment Agency to ensure the significant ecological and archaeological of the site were not affected by the works, as well as careful management and co-ordination of deliveries to ensure local disruption was kept to a minimum.

Our involvement in this project gave us the privilege of being the first contractor to break ground on the C2 section of HS2, and we look forward to working with HS2 and Eiffage Kier on future parts of this magnificent project.
